Yami Gautam, A talented Bollywood actress who worked in various movies like Badlapur, Bala, Vicky Donor and appeared in multiple films recently tied the knot with Bollywood Film Director-Aditya Dhar on 4th June 2021. The wedding took place at Yami’s Farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The couple got married as per pahadi rituals. Both of them have worked together in Uri: The Surgical Strike Film.

She captioned a photo of herself and Aditya at their wedding ceremony with a statement from Rumi. She penned, “I learn to love in your light – Rumi Today, with our family’s blessings, we tied the knot in a little wedding ceremony. Only the family members and close relatives were present at the function.

She shared a series of joyous images from her Haldi ceremony on Sunday and also posted a few photos from her Mehendi ceremony on Saturday. She is seen sporting a yellow gown with a crimson dupatta and handcrafted jewellery in one snapshot. In another, the actress wears a classic crimson saree and shows off her gold kaleeras.

Pahadi tradition events before wedding

The actress donned a traditional maroon silk sari with elaborate gold work on the drape and a complementing top with flower designs all over on her wedding day.
As the bridal gown was said to be her mother’s 33-year-old saree and the gown was complemented with a matching dupatta, which was thoughtfully presented by her maternal grandma for the ideal bridal look. As the low key wedding also witnessed a deep connection with the bride, who wore Heirloom Jewelry and completed her ensemble with an ancient royal gold choker set, mang tikka, and kalire embellished with cowrie shells and coconut, as well as the traditional pahaadi – Himachali Nath, which was also given to her by her grandmother.

Yami’s Makeup and Saree look

Yami elected to apply her own makeup and went basic, staying loyal to her preferred makeup style — subtle and low-glam. It imparted an exquisite and understated elegance that was hard to overlook. Her style was timeless and traditional thanks to a simple black khol and red lips with a touch of subtle blush. This describes how much she loves to be simple yet effective.
