The real wedding of #Aryu- Ayushi and Aryan

Ayushi Aryan Wedding

Ever since childhood, Ayushi was fascinated with the concept of weddings and marriages. Girls nowadays don’t dream of just being a name-sake wife to anyone, they need someone who understands them and supports them. And that’s why even on the D-day, Ayushi could not come to terms that she was getting married to the love of her life- Aryan. This real wedding is absolutely stunning in all ways!

The #Aryu history

They met through their parents, and luckily, were given time to know each other. After all, spending their lives together certainly needs an understanding. Despite the fact that it was an arranged marriage, Ayushi and Aryan never asked the basic typical questions until very late.

They went with the flow. Slowly and gradually, things fell into place and in no time, their wedding season arrived. Ayushi considers Aryan as her friend and viz-a-viz, and that’s what she loves the most about him. He considers her as a friend first and wife later.

The bride-to-be was absolutely eager to plan her wedding out with Aryan leaving all the decisions up to her. Luckily, her younger brother was her god fairy, and helped her plan and execute the wedding.

The start of the journey- the Engagement

The couple got engaged in the mega ballroom at The Leela Palace, New Delhi. The engagement theme was based on the royal combination of red and golden. While the decor included roses, a life-size couple hashtag, and a pinch of soulful music. They exchanged rings in the presence of their near and dear ones, and dance the night off.

Ayushi wore a gorgeous red gown made by designer Neeta Lulla, accompanied by diamond jewelry and princess cut tiara. Meanwhile, the Aryan twinned with his love of life and wore a red tuxedo from Giorgio Armani.

The memorable Mehndi

For a memorable mehndi function, the theme color decided was Tiffany blue with a tint of floral pink. Everyone greeted the bride-to-be with color bombs as she entered the function. The highlight of the event was when Ayush was walked down by her dad on her favorite song ‘Dilbaro’ from Raazi.

The bride-to-be had a preference for wearing a multi-colored lehenga with different colored stripes. Therefore, she found a perfect match with Delhi based designer Gazal Gupta, who customized it in velvet wear.

She paired the lehenga with big tassles with the couple’s names, and juttis customized as ‘Pataka Dulhan’ by Rohan Arora.

The lesser-known Godh Bharai ceremony

No, this Godh Bharai is different that the known one. The Godh Bharai ceremony before a wedding is a function where women of the groom’s family, mutually accept the bride into their family.

In this ceremony, the bride is showered with gifts such as jewelry, makeup, shoes, and almost anything feminine and attractive in nature.

For this ceremony, Ayushi chose a simple yet elegant pastel orange saree from Rabani & Rakha. She wanted to have a simple look, at least for one ceremony.

The desi Bachelorette get together

What is a bridgate without her sister(s)? And that’s what Ayushi did. A few months prior to her wedding with Aryan, she gifted all her girlfriends an outfit and a gorgeous hamper officially asking them to be a part of her bridgate. What is sweeter than this!

On her wedding day, all her girlfriends twinned in similar pink sarees, contrasting with her red sari. They spent the next few hours, enjoying themselves away! Be it by cutting the cake, having lunch together, or clicking loads of photos. She definitely got her life’s sister rom-com moment captured.

The stunning sangeet ceremony

The theme for this stunning sangeet ceremony was eleven heavens. All the performances took place with the backgrounds of different locations like Switzerland, Paris, Greece, Rome, and many more!

The concept of this was that the family searches for the dulhan in different countries, but finally finds her in India! An aww-dorable and unique concept we must say.

For her most beloved function, Ayushi wore a baby pink Indo Western wear from Dolly J. While, Aryan chose a white tuxedo and opted for a bow!

The wedding day

The theme for their wedding day was full-on royal. Literally! The dulha and dulhan both had royal grand entries. The dulha entered on a stunning golden chariot which was accompanied by a dance performance by trained dancers. While the dulhan entered on a beautiful artificial peacock studded palki.

The varmalas were done depicting Lord Krishna and Radha (her favorite love story) getting married. The stage was grand with perfect lighting, and all the focus was on the couple.

The bride wore a gorgeous Tarun Tahiliani lehnega as she has always admired his work. For jewelry, she opted for an elaborate matha patti and heavy jhumkas. She also wore baju band and hand flowers with a set of contrasting bangles.

A girl with simple taste, her makeup designer Loveleen Chatwal suggested going with a bold red lip to enhance the overall look. Ayushi loved this suggestion, as it went along with her look.

While Aryan wore a cream sherwani with black intricate detailing from Shymal Bhumika. He paired the sherwani with a pale mustard turban with a brooch.

The pair look perfect for each other. Truly a match made in heaven! We wish the couple a married life full of happiness and success. May they continue to be each other’s friend in partners forever.
